Petrol rises to Rs392.76 and diesel to Rs399.64 per litre effective October 3-5, 2026, under an OGRA notification, with relief scheme details for eligible vehicles.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification revising petroleum product prices, with both petrol and high-speed diesel becoming more expensive. Petrol has been increased by Rs2.10 per litre to Rs392.76, while high-speed diesel has risen by 30 paisas to Rs399.64 per litre. The new prices will remain effective until October 5, according to the Petroleum Division notification.

How to Get Relief

Under the Petrol Relief Scheme, motorcycle and Qingqi rickshaw owners get a Rs100 per litre discount on up to 20 litres monthly, while owners of vehicles up to 800cc get the same discount on up to 30 litres monthly. To register, send an SMS to 9771 in this format: REG, CNIC number, vehicle registration number, first word of the province name, and vehicle registration date. Before visiting a petrol station, send TOK to 9771 to receive a token number, then present it at the pump to claim the discount.
