Sindh becomes the first province to link all its educational boards with NADRA, with verified degrees to be available on the Pak ID app and integration provided free of charge.
Sindh has become the first province to link all of its educational boards with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), after signing an agreement to integrate them with the authority. The signing ceremony was attended by Provincial Minister for Universities Ismail Rahoo, the NADRA Director General and the chairmen of all boards. All boards will be connected to NADRA’s secure digital system, which is meant to bring transparency to the examination system and digitise educational records.
What It Means for Students
Students’ verified educational degrees will also be available on the Pak ID app.
Preventing Fake Degrees and Proxy Exams
Minister Rahoo said the integration will help prevent fake degrees and proxy exams, where someone takes an exam on another person’s behalf.
No Cost to the Boards
The NADRA Director General said the authority will provide the integration facility to all educational boards free of charge.
