According to police, authorities launched action after receiving reports of the alleged sale and marriage of a minor girl, and the arrest was made on the orders of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). A case has been registered at the local police station, and the allegations are subject to investigation.

Police said the girl would be produced before a court today, and further legal proceedings are expected to follow.
