Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the European Union is the second biggest trade partner of Pakistan. She was speaking during a meeting with Member of the European Parliament Mary Fatima Khan-Hohloch in Lahore, along with a visiting delegation.
What Was Discussed
Avenues to boost cooperation in agriculture and information technology, besides trade-related issues, were discussed during the meeting.
EU Delegation's Response
Mary Fatima Khan-Hohloch lauded the ongoing public welfare projects in Punjab, while the European delegation also appreciated the Chief Minister's measure to issue Minority Cards for the welfare of minorities.
