Gold prices in Pakistan rise Rs2,000 to Rs440,636 per tola on October 2, mirroring a $20 increase in international gold markets, as silver also gains.
Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs2,000 per tola to Rs440,636, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,715 to Rs377,774, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs1,572 to Rs346,305.
International Gold Price Also Rises
The international price of gold increased by $20 per ounce to $4,181, with the rise in global prices reflected in the local bullion market.
Silver Prices Increase
Silver prices also recorded gains in Pakistan. The price of 24-karat silver increased by Rs50 per tola to Rs6,578, while 10 grams rose by Rs43 to Rs5,639. International silver prices increased by $0.50 per ounce to $61.
