Gold prices in Pakistan fall Rs800 to Rs437,336 per tola on September 29, extending a decline after one of the biggest drops in recent memory.
The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market witnessed a further decline on Tuesday, a day after a massive drop. The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by another Rs800, bringing the new rate to Rs437,336, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Ten grams of 24-karat gold dropped Rs686 to Rs374,945, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined Rs628 to Rs343,712.
International Gold Prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by $8, reaching $4,148 per ounce.
Silver Prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver declined by Rs20 to Rs6,558, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs17 to Rs5,622.
