Gold prices in Pakistan drop Rs5,600 to Rs448,336 per tola on September 24, mirroring a $56 decline in international gold markets.
The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market saw another massive drop on Thursday. The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by another Rs5,600, bringing the new rate to Rs448,336, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Ten grams of 24-karat gold dropped Rs4,801 to Rs384,375, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell Rs4,401 to Rs352,356.
International Gold Prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by $56, reaching $4,258 per ounce.
Silver Prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver declined by Rs171 to Rs6,837, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs147 to Rs5,861.
