The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market witnessed one of the biggest declines ever on Monday. The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs12,800, bringing the new rate to Rs438,136, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Ten grams of 24-karat gold dropped Rs10,973 to Rs375,631, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell Rs10,059 to Rs344,340.
International Gold Prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by $128, reaching $4,156 per ounce.
Silver Prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver declined by Rs325 to Rs6,578, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs279 to Rs5,639.
