The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market saw an upward trend on Thursday, October 8, while silver declined. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs600 to Rs435,036. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs515 to Rs372,973, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs472 to Rs341,904.
International Gold Price
In the global bullion market, gold rose by $6 to $4,125 per ounce.
Silver Prices in Pakistan
Silver prices moved the other way. The price of 24-karat silver dropped by Rs120 per tola to Rs6,368, while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs103 to Rs5,459.
