KARACHI — On March 28, 2022, Service Lengthy March Tyres, a joint project between China’s Chaoyang Longmarch Tyre and Pakistan’s Service Group, opened Pakistan’s first all-steel radial truck/bus tire facility.
President Arif Alvi inaugurated Pakistan’s first Sole Enterprise Zone (SEZ), which is located on 50 acres in Nooriabad, an industrial city in Sindh’s Jamshoro district. The President, speaking at the event, expressed his pleasure that foreign investment was increasing in the country.
With the active collaboration of the top Pakistani and Chinese language partners, the $300 million enterprises will make tires under the model name SLM.
‘It is a huge day for Service Group and our family,’ Mr. Omar Saeed said at the CEO Service Lengthy March event. We will make Pakistan self-sufficient in one of the most important sectors. We’ll also put Pakistan on the map for exporting designed goods across the world.
On completion of all three stages of the new venture, Service Group, Pakistan’s largest exporter of tires and footwear, would expand Pakistan’s tire exports by $300 million annually, adding even more to the country’s economic growth.
