Gold prices in Pakistan fall for the third straight day, dropping Rs1,800 to Rs455,736 per tola as international gold also declines.
The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan fell by Rs1,800 per tola on Tuesday, bringing the new rate to Rs455,736, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association — the third consecutive day of decline. Ten grams of 24-karat gold dropped Rs1,543 to Rs390,720, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell Rs1,414 to Rs358,173.
A Global Trend
International gold prices fell $18, reaching $4,332 per ounce, confirming the local decline mirrors broader global market movement rather than a Pakistan-specific shift.
Silver Follows the Same Path
Silver prices also declined: 24-karat silver fell Rs62 to Rs7,038 per tola, while 10 grams dropped Rs54 to Rs6,033.
The Bottom Line
Three days, three declines — gold's steady slide continues in step with international markets, giving buyers a notably lower entry point than just a few days ago, while sellers watch closely for any sign of the trend reversing.
