The National E-Commerce Council has decided to se up a focus group consists of experts in order to deal with different challenges and to make Amazon a successful platform by which many people from Pakistan can get benefit by selling their Pakistani products at global level.
This model is already operational in different countries including Indonesia, China and many other countries.
The amazon platform will be available for selling only the local products in foreign countries but people from Pakistan cannot get benefit from this as they won’t be able to purchase from Amazone.
The “focus group” will arrange monthly meetings in order to address the challenges. According to Mr Dawood, “private sector of logistics and its companies have an opportunity as to scale up the businesses and develop an international partnership for making this Amazon logistics perform for effective deliveries”.
Furthermore, he also added that the Amazon platform will boost to the exports of Pakistan and also said that the 40 exporters have been registered already.
