Punjab's IT Internship Program offers 2,000 graduates a Rs50,000 monthly stipend for four to five months. Check eligibility, documents and how to apply.
To apply for the Punjab IT Internship Program, register online at the official portal, cmitinterns.punjab.gov.pk. Launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), the program offers paid internships to 2,000 recent graduates in IT and computer-related fields. Selected interns receive Rs50,000 a month for four to five months. Applicants need at least 16 years of education, a degree completed within the past four years, a Punjab domicile and no current job. Selection involves profile registration, an aptitude test, HEC verification of qualifications and an interview. Check the portal for the closing date.

Degree in an IT-related field: Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science, Graphic Design or Information Systems
Degree completed within the past four years
Unemployed at the time of applying

What Interns Get
Interns gain hands-on experience through practical projects at participating IT companies, which receive Rs12,500 per intern per month in financial support. Selected candidates will also have the chance to earn an internationally recognized IT certification during the internship.
