The amount of civilian deaths in the Gaza Strip, according to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, indicates that there is “clearly wrong” with Israel’s military actions against Palestinian militants affiliated with Hamas.
“When Hamas uses human shields, they violate the law. However, something is obviously wrong when one considers the amount of civilians who died as a result of military actions, Guterres told Reuters NEXT.
“Every year, the highest number of killings of children by any of the actors in all the conflicts that we witness is the maximum in the hundreds,” stated Guterres.
