PTA cuts taxes on registration of iPhone 14 series

According to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has decreased the tax on registration of the iPhone 14 series.

According to reports, taxes on various models of the series have been lowered by up to 20%. It has been decreased from Rs.9,074 to Rs.31,562 for those who register their gadgets by passport, and from Rs 29,832 to Rs34,901 for those who register using CNIC.

On Passport, the tax on the iPhone 14 has been decreased by Rs9,074 to Rs125,751, while the tax on the iPhone 14 Plus has been reduced by Rs14,824 to Rs125,751.

The PTA has reduced the tax on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max by Rs22,775 and Rs31,562, respectively, to Rs127,000 and Rs127,068.

CNIC has granted a tax decrease of Rs29,832 and Rs36,157 on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus to Rs131,126 for both models.

The tax on the iPhone 14 Pro has been decreased by Rs31,602 to Rs145,801, while the tax on the iPhone 14 Pro Max has been reduced by Rs34,901 to Rs152,242.

People who use non-PTA-authorised iPhones will be relieved by the announcement.
