Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to maintain the highest educational standards at Daanish Schools across Pakistan, stressing that quality must not be compromised.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore on October 31, the prime minister said admissions would remain strictly merit-based and limited to deserving children from low-income families. He described investment in these institutions as an investment in the country's future.

AI and IT to Become Part of Learning

The prime minister instructed officials to introduce modern teaching and training methods based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Technology (IT). The aim is to improve students' education and prepare them with skills relevant to changing demands.

He also ordered third-party assessments of school infrastructure, facilities and services to ensure that quality standards are maintained.

Construction Work to Be Accelerated

Shehbaz Sharif directed authorities to speed up construction at Daanish School sites nationwide, with work continuing around the clock to support timely completion.

He also called for better road access to schools in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, he asked officials to prepare a strategy for establishing Daanish Schools in the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The initiative aims to expand access to quality education for talented children whose families face financial constraints.
