The popular song Pasoori by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill has received 500M million views on YouTube.
Ali took to Instagram to announce the wonderful news. He also shared a few images of the Pasoori squad enjoying themselves after their major accomplishment.
“Ye Kya Kiyaaaa, wrote Sethi in excitement.” The pictures shared by the singer showed him celebrating the achievement with Coke Studio producer Zulfiqar J Khan and his co-singer Shae Gill.
The release of the Coke Studio song Pasoori from season 14 on YouTube was a significant turning point for the internet. In the midst of the hectic and sad COVID-19 phase, Ali’s deep voice and Shae’s beautiful singing gave everyone a sense of aliveness. The song connected the younger and older generations and touched every single person on earth, not only in Pakistan.
The top music video rankings on YouTube were trending with the hit tune a few days ago. Pasoori also rose to the top spot for most-streamed Pakistani music on Spotify. The song dominated social media channels.
