Asifa Ali of Pakistan won gold in the 49kg category at the World Taekwondo Octagon Diamond Games 2023 in Korea.
Asifa is a Global Sports Management student at Seoul National University in South Korea.
Earlier in the event, Pakistan’s Hamza Saeed, Aqdasullah Qadeer, and Naila all earned bronze medals.
Hamza won bronze for Pakistan at the World Taekwondo Octagon (Octagon) Diamond Games 2023.
Hamza was defeated 2-0 by Korea’s Ryong Woo Li in the semi-finals.
Earlier in the tournament, Hamza defeated Afghanistan’s Mohammad Ashraf 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
Pakistan’s Aqdasullah and Naila won bronze medals in the Poomsae Event at the World Taekwondo Beach Championship G-2.
