Pakistan’s Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2022 campaign will begin today (Monday) in Jakarta, Indonesia, against arch-rival India.
Pool A includes Pakistan, India, Japan, and Indonesia, while Pool B includes Korea, Oman, Bangladesh, and Malaysia.
Pakistan and India have won the coveted competition three times apiece, while South Korea has won four times.
This is a qualifier for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup in Bhubaneswar, India, in 2023.
The first day includes 4 games. First up Malaysia will take on Oman followed by Korea vs Bangladesh, Japan vs Indonesia, and finally India vs Pakistan.
