GTA 6 Review Copies May Reveal Leakers Through On-Screen Watermarks

GTA 6 review copies reportedly display reviewers’ names on screen to help identify leaks before the game launches on November 19.
Review copies of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) reportedly use on-screen watermarks to help prevent story leaks and spoilers before the game’s release.
Content creator Jeremy, known as ManaByte, claims that the watermark flashes the reviewer’s name on screen. This could help identify the source if gameplay footage is shared without permission.
Leaks Could Affect Future Access
According to the report, reviewers who share restricted footage could risk losing access to future Rockstar Games releases. However, the watermark system and the reported penalty have not been officially confirmed by Rockstar.
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
