The internet flew into a frenzy because netizens assumed McDonald's would close due to social media remarks.
On Wednesday, the franchise's Twitter handle uploaded a black image with the words "We will be back soon," which elicited an outpouring of support from Twitter users concerned that their favorite cafe would likely close.
