Govt set-ups two new vaccination centres in Lahore

According to health authorities, the Punjab government on Tuesday started two new vaccination centres at the Central Park Teaching Hospital and Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ), Kahna, to facilitate the population living in the surroundings.

The health officials said overall 35 counters had been set up at both the centres with cumulative capacity to vaccinate over 3,000 people per day. The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department staff has been deputed at these centres.

The Punjab health minister said these two centres would facilitate the people of Ferozepur Road, Kahna and adjacent areas.She said people would be vaccinated at these centres on a daily basis.

“We are increasing the number of vaccination centres in Punjab. So far, we have vaccinated over 1.9 million people in Punjab,” she said.
