Gold price decreases by Rs1,400 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices fell in the domestic market on Tuesday, mirroring the pattern in the foreign market.

According to figures from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of a tola of gold fell by Rs1,100 to Rs214,200, while the price of a gram of 24-carat gold fell by Rs943 to Rs183,642.

The price of the precious metal fell by $9 on the international market to settle at $1,92 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver’s and gold’s prices remained steady at Rs2,650 and Rs2,271.94, respectively.
