China calls Israel’s attack on Iran’s Embassy ‘extremely vicious’ at UNSC

Here’s more from what was said at the UN Security Council emergency meeting on Iran’s attack on Israel.

China’s UN Ambassador Dai Bing told the meeting the earlier attack on Iran’s consulate in Syria was of an “extremely vicious nature”. Iran claims Israel was responsible for the attack, which killed seven people.

China’s also demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and said the “humanitarian catastrophe” there was “unacceptable”.
