According to sources close to the issue, the PCB officials filed a formal letter to the ICC seeking involvement with the process of India’s visa for Pakistani nationals, including fans and media, who intend to travel to India for the World Cup 2023.
According to the letter, the lack of clarity on the Indian visa rules raises concern among Pakistani cricket fans and media workers who want to enjoy and cover the ICC big event on Indian soil.
However, sources inside the PCB expressed optimism that the ICC and appropriate authorities will collaborate to fix the visa issue as soon as possible.
