The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has adopted a Pakistan-Philippines sponsored resolution on promoting inter-religious and intercultural dialogue that underscores the need for respecting sacred religious symbols.
The resolution urges States to disseminate values of religious tolerance and inter-religious dialogue through educational programmes.
