President Dr Arif Alvi declares that Gilgit-Baltistan possesses remarkable potential in the Mining, Agriculture, and Tourism sectors, which ought to be fully explored to promote regional development.
He expressed this while addressing members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly in Gilgit, asserting that exploiting the region’s natural resources requires a workforce of talented and skilled individuals to achieve prosperity.
As an ambassador of Gilgit-Baltistan, I have advertised the beauty of the province at various forums to attract tourists to the region, President Dr Arif Alvi said.
He said Gilgit Baltistan is tax free but a small Taxation system should be set up to collect tax from tourists visiting the region.
