Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi addressing the ceremony of the 10th Convocation of Air University

— The President of Pakistan (@PresOfPakistan) February 27, 2023

In his remarks at the Air University Islamabad commencement ceremony on Monday, he suggested that in order to counter the propaganda of our enemy, we need to develop contemporary military capabilities, including cyber warfare.

The President lamented that Pakistan does not rank anywhere in the world’s cyber rankings while highlighting the significance of cyber capability in contemporary conflict.

The President suggested that we support modern skill-based education to harness the potential of our youth for national growth. He claimed that if we do not provide our youngsters with access to modern education, the country’s youth bulge will turn into a young burden.

According to the President, 22 million of our children are not in school, which could become a financial burden on the state in the future. As a result, we must educate them in modern subjects like cyber security, whose demand is growing across the globe.

The President emphasized that our political leaders should not waste time in deciding the destiny of our youth, who make up a larger portion of the population of the country, by using the example of Chinese progress.
