In the meeting, both professional and national security-related topics were covered, according to a statement from the PM Media Wing here. The discussion also covered the nation’s growing terror threat.
The National Security Committee (NSC) will meet on Friday to examine national security-related issues, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to sources with direct knowledge of the situation, the PM has scheduled the NSC meeting for PM House on Friday, which will also include the military leaders and the secretaries of defense, interior, foreign affairs, and finance.
