PM Imran Khan addressed the authorities concerned to maintain the gas tariff for the next few months to providing consolation to consumers, on Friday.
The PM called for escalating efforts to expedite the masses, particularly those belonging to the lower class. As he Chaired a meeting to review prices of wheat flour, sugar, and other essential commodities.
The Federal Minister that conducted the meeting include, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Mohammad Hammad Azhar, Syed Fakhr Imam, Omar Ayub, Asad Umar, PM’s special assistants Nadeem Babar, Dr. Waqar Masood and Tabish Gohar, former finance minister Shaukat Tareen and secretaries and senior officials of different government departments.
Moreover, Issues related to the stability of prices of essential commodities were the hot topic of the meeting. Particularly flour, and measures to reduce the prices of sugar, gas, and petrol
