Pakistan's Irshad Ali wins gold at 2022 South Asian Karate Championship

A Pakistani athlete won a gold medal at the South Asian Karate Championship being held in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo.

Ali Displayed an incredible performance to defeat his Indian rival and win the U-21 division title. Throughout this competition, he also won gold in a different category.

Saifullah won a gold medal in his respective category, bringing Pakistan's total number of gold medals won to three.

A female athlete named Arzoo has won silver in individual karate in the junior women’s category.

At the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, earlier this year, Pakistani athletes took home eight medals, including two gold ones.
