On Thursday, Pakistan will give over the Group of 77 and China presidency to Cuba after serving a one-year term.
A ceremony where the baton will be passed to Cuba will be placed in this regard in the chamber of the Trusteeship Council.
A video message by the foreign minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is followed by statements from the president of Cuba, Miguel Daz-Canel Bermudez, via video link.
Along with others, the event will feature remarks from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and UN General Assembly President Csaba Korosi.
