Pakistan set to introduce Digital Prize Bonds with Rs4million prize money

Under the Digital Prize Bonds project, the Pakistani government has chosen to distribute Rs1,000 prize bonds.

In the first phase, Rs1,000 prize bonds will be offered, followed by denominations of 500, 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 in the second phase.

The Rs1,000 digital bonds would be scriptless and will have a prize pool of Rs4 million.

According to media sources, National Savings will issue digital prize bonds in another bond to eliminate paper from the process, and buyers will have access through the "Digital Prize Bond Gateway," an online platform that can be accessed through a dedicated application.

Digital Prize Bond draws will take place on a quarterly basis or as determined by the Finance Division.

The draw schedule will be announced by National Savings at the start of each calendar year, with the results published in the official Gazette.
