Pakistan hopes to resume PIA flights to UK in three months: minister
Pakistan International Airlines plans to resume flights to the United Kingdom within the next three months, according to Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique on Friday.
Rafique made the statement in parliament, claiming that new law passed this week had removed the remaining barrier to the national carrier flying to the UK.
"God willing, PIA flights will resume at least to the UK in three months, and, later, flights to Europe and America will resume," he stated.

PIA's flights to Europe and England were halted after the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) canceled the national carrier's permission to fly to the EU in 2020 as a result of a phony pilot scandal in the South Asian country.
