iPhone 15 series overheating complaints flood Internet

Many Apple users of devices have taken to the internet to complain about the overheating issue with the newly introduced iPhone 15 series, including a reporter for 9to5Mac, a website that covers news and rumors about Apple and its devices.

On social media platform X – formerly Twitter – Ian Zelbo, a 9to5Mac staffer, talked about having heating issues with his iPhone 15 Pro Max while charging over a cable connection.

Jeeez my iPhone 15 Pro Max is almost too hot to touch while fast charging rn…

— Ian Zelbo (@ianzelbo) September 25, 2023

Meanwhile, additional iPhone 15 users noticed the same issue while not charging but browsing social media.

It is important to note that it is totally usual for new iPhone models to become heated within the first 24 hours because there is a lot going on in the background such as iCloud backup from an old phone or software installation.

So with the iPhone 15 being extremely fragile and also having extreme over heating problems will @Apple refund anyone or just tell us to fuck off? The iPhone 15 pro max shattered just from a pressure test. What a terrible product. @forbes @bbb_us pic.twitter.com/W87DEYEOAs

However, users are complaining that the iPhone 15 models are getting heated with very undemanding tasks like scrolling social media, switching between chat applications, or watching reels.
