Haris Rauf declared fit for ICC World Cup
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterLinkedinWhatsapp

Fast bowler Haris Rauf has been pronounced fit for selection after successfully recovering from a rib ailment that had sidelined him for a brief while, providing a huge boost to Pakistan’s cricket ambitions for the 2017 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.

The decision comes as a relief to both the national squad and cricket fans across the country.

This development came after a medical team evaluated his fitness and thoroughly reviewed his bowling performance. The panel’s decision cleared the path for Rauf to be named to the national squad for the next cricket event.

In contrast to Haris Rauf’s recovery, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is keeping a tight eye on fast bowler Naseem Shah, who has been injured.

The ICC World Cup is only 14 days away and the clock is ticking. However, Pakistan is not the only team dealing with player fitness issues.

As the event approaches, several elite teams throughout the world have faced similar challenges, making the journey to the World Cup a test of both skill and fitness.

Haris Rauf injured

Haris Rauf, the fast bowler, was injured last week and did not play in the high-octane match against arch-rivals India.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the tragic turn of events, citing Rauf’s fitness concerns as the rationale for the decision. According to the PCB’s statement, Haris Rauf has been judged unfit for the forthcoming match and will not bowl as a precautionary measure.

Haris Rauf is currently suffering from discomfort and pain in his right flank, which has forced this careful approach, according to team management. The management’s choice not to jeopardise the fast bowler’s health anymore demonstrates their dedication to player well-being and long-term fitness.
