The federal government has agreed to form a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to look into the audio leaks from the Prime Minister House.
Officials from covert agencies will also be included in the JIT’s investigation into audio leaks from the Prime Minister House.
The investigation committee will check to see if the data has been compromised or stolen and sold. The inquiry team will also look into the possibility of mobile recording or gadget eavesdropping at the PM House.
The investigation will have permission to involve PM House staff members. Which officers were present in the Prime Minister House at the time of the recording will also be a subject of investigation.
On the other hand, the PTI has announced to submit the audio leaks of the prime minister and federal ministers in the Supreme Court.
