All Mobile phone users present in Murree and Galliat areas with zero balance have been provided with the facility of free on-net calls, after viewing the emergency situation in Murree and Galliat areas.
This free calls facility for people stranded in Murree and Galliat areas has been provided to all mobile users in Murree and Galliat on the command of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
Moreover, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has also directed all telecommunications operators like Jazz/Warid, Ufone, Telenor, Zong etc. to ensure uninterrupted telecommunication services to all users in the stranded areas around Murree and Galliat.
And Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) also directed all telecommnication operators to keep enough back-up arrangments in case of further power outages in the areas of Murree, Galliat and surrounding for the easement of stranded people in these areas.
