An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale was felt across parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday, with tremors reported in Chitral, Batkhela and surrounding areas, Swat, and Mohmand district. According to the earthquake monitoring centre, the quake originated at a depth of 196 kilometres, with its epicentre located in the mountainous Hindu Kush range.
