Petrol price has been reduced by Rs1.93 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs4.21 per litre, with new rates taking effect from Thursday, September 24. The new price of petrol is Rs390.12 per litre, while high-speed diesel will cost Rs414.75 per litre, according to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Wednesday.
This follows another cut announced by the federal government on Tuesday, when petrol fell by Rs1.70 per litre to Rs392.05, and high-speed diesel dropped by Rs3.12 per litre to Rs418.96, with those rates taking effect from Wednesday, September 23.
