Petrol and Diesel Prices Reduced in Pakistan: New Rates Take Effect November 3

Pakistan reduces petrol by Rs3.40 and diesel by Rs7.76 per litre. New prices take effect November 3, bringing relief to fuel consumers.
Government Announces Fresh Fuel Price Cuts
The federal government has reduced petrol and high-speed diesel prices in Pakistan, offering some relief to motorists and businesses.
Under the latest revision, petrol has become cheaper by Rs3.40 per litre, while high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs7.76 per litre. The revised rates will take effect from November 3, 2026.
New Petrol and Diesel Prices
The new prices are:
Petrol: Rs374.51 per litre, down from Rs377.91.
High-speed diesel: Rs395.20 per litre, down from Rs402.96.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority revised the ex-depot prices under the government's petroleum pricing mechanism.
Global Oil Market Influences Revision
The reduction comes amid a decline in international oil prices. Global crude prices fell on November 2 as diplomatic developments involving Iran and Qatar raised hopes of reduced disruptions to regional oil supplies.
Lower fuel prices may help ease transport and operating costs for households, businesses and the transport sector. However, the actual impact will depend on how fuel costs and other expenses change in the coming days.
