Punjab Introduces Digital E-Sheets for Board Exams

Punjab launches digital e-sheets for board exams, with 50,000 students taking the first Biology paper under the new system.
Punjab has launched a digital e-sheet system for board examinations, aiming to improve transparency and speed up the marking process.
Around 50,000 students appeared in the first Biology examination conducted under the new system. Muzamil Mahmood, Chairman of the Punjab Examination Task Force, said the technology would help prevent impersonation and fake attendance.
Under the system, answer sheets will be processed digitally, allowing examiners to mark papers online. Officials expect this change to reduce delays in preparing examination results.
Mahmood also announced that all subject examinations across Punjab will use the e-sheet system from next year.
