159 schools for rehab of child labour set up by Bait-ul-Mall

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) organization has set up schools for rehab of child labour (SRCLs) across the whole country.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan revealed this while responding to the question during the question hour in the Senate on Tuesday, January 11th afternoon session.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said:

“The schools for rehab of child labour (SRCLs) across the country have been established to pull out the children from bounded labour and educate them to make them an important part of the community when they grow up.”

Moreover, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan also said that:

“Presently, 159 schools for rehabilitation of child labour (SRCLs) are operating all over the country.”

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan also informed the senate during the question hour by saying that:

“Over eighteen thousand child labour students have so far been enrolled in schools for rehabilitation of child labour (SRCLs).”

Moreover, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan also said that:

“More children involved in Labour are enrolled every day in the schools for rehabilitation of child labour (SRCLs) and are educated for free up to the primary level of education.”

Moreover, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan also said that:

“These students are being provided free books, stationery, uniform, shoes along with subsistence allowance for their parents.”
