WhatsApp is launching self-erasing messages and media for iOS after releasing the feature on Android in June, according to WABetaInfo.
The beta version 2.21.140.9 is available on Testflight. The update will allow users to send messages, photos and videos that automatically self-destruct after being viewed. Users will be able to see a timer icon.
The sender will be notified when the media has been viewed by the recipient. However, users can take screenshots without the sender being notified. Moreover, Users can’t stop the sender from being notified once the media has been viewed reports WABetaInfo
