Ahead of its official launch on April 21, Vivo has confirmed several key specifications of its upcoming flagship, the Vivo X200 Ultra, via social media posts by an executive. The X200 Ultra is shaping up to be a powerhouse in the premium smartphone segment with several significant upgrades over its predecessor.

The device will feature a 2K OLED display with Zeiss branding and Armour glass protection for enhanced durability. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, this flagship device also includes Vivo’s proprietary V3+ chip and a VS1 imaging processor for superior performance, especially in photography and video capture.

One of the standout features of the X200 Ultra is its 6,000mAh battery, which supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging, a notable improvement from the 5,500mAh battery in the previous X100 Ultra model, which supported 80W wired and 30W wireless charging.

The X200 Ultra also offers advanced security features, including an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor. In terms of photography, the device is expected to surpass the iPhone 16 Pro Max in low-light time-lapse performance, thanks to its enhanced ultra-wide-angle lens and Zeiss-backed triple rear camera system, which includes a telephoto lens. The device can shoot stunning 4K resolution time-lapse videos across the full focal range, with advanced recognition of light and shadow variations.

For photography enthusiasts, Vivo will offer an optional Photography Kit to further enhance the user experience.

Alongside the X200 Ultra, Vivo will also unveil several other products at the event, including the X200s smartphone, Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Vivo Pad SE, and Vivo Watch 5. This announcement marks the culmination of weeks of gradual specification reveals, building anticipation for Vivo’s latest flagship offering.
