The COVID-19 cases exceeded from the figure of 50,000 in November 2020 but Later the number of cases started decreasing and on Monday the figure minimized to 35,246. Which means there has been a betterment in the situation across the country as the active number of cases have decreased.

It is the second time that cases have started decreasing because earlier in the Last week of February the number of cases were way ahead of the figure of 50,000 and the country was a in a dreadful situation of chaos and Depression. Later on Sept 13 only 5831 active cases were left an Official of the National Institute of Health stated.

NCOC mentioned nearly 300 people are on ventilator all across Pakistan, they also added that in October the cases crossed the figure of 50,000, but then again in December the cases decreased to 40,000 , further fall was expected but now have reached a little over to 15,000.

Meanwhile their were 294 Ventilators were occupied all across Pakistan However there were no patients on vent in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Baluchistan.

Moreover the Lockdown was announced on March 16 and all the industries including Construction, Tourism, educational institutions, restaurants, marriage halls, etc were asked to remain closed.

But due to the betterment in the situation all the Businesses Reopened in Aug-Sept, However due to the opening of tourists spots large assemblies of people have been observed there who were not obeying the SOPs so Gilgit Baltistan has decided to close its tourists spots.
