Punjab cabinet ministers are set to take their oath today in a ceremony to be held at the Governor’s House.

Final preparations have been completed at the Governor’s House for the swearing-in of the Punjab cabinet ministers, scheduled for 4 pm.

Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman will administer the oath to the provincial ministers. In the initial phase, 25 ministers and special assistants will be inducted into the Punjab Cabinet.

Sources indicate that the names of the Punjab cabinet ministers were approved by PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif. Among those to be sworn in are Marriyum Aurangzeb, Rana Sanaullah, Parvez Rasheed, Azma Bukhari, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Khawaja Salman Rafique, and Sohaib Bharat.

Additionally, Faisal Ayub Khokhar, Rana Ishaq Hayat, Sher Ali Gurchani, Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, and Bilal Yasin are also among those set to take the oath as Punjab cabinet ministers. Ministers from the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) have also been included in the cabinet.

Azma Zahid Bukhari is anticipated to assume the role of Information Minister, while Marriyum Aurangzeb is likely to be appointed as the Planning Minister.
