Progress on CPEC expedited by new govt: Ahsan Iqbal

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal claims that since the new government took power, the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has accelerated.

In an interview with Pang Chunxue, the Chinese Charge d'Affaires to Pakistan, in Islamabad, he stated that frequent meetings are conducted for the implementation of the CPEC projects.

The Minister of Planning stated that his primary objective is to speed up the CPEC projects to restore Chinese investor confidence.

He stated that the current government will continue to engage with China in the same spirit as it did in 2013.
