Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet with prominent business personalities of the country today.

On Monday evening, Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, extended an invitation to several prominent business personalities.

The premier will likely consult with the business community in confidence regarding economic decisions, the current political climate, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to other sources, Ishaq Dar, the finance minister, and other federal officials will also be present at the meeting.

Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, the president of the FPCCI, said that Prime Minister Sharif had called him to a meeting to discuss the nation’s economic situation.

The federal government will offer motorcycle riders and rickshaw drivers discounted fuel, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif announced earlier in the day, taking a significant step towards relieving the lower and middle-income class.

The government is working to lessen the challenges encountered by the lower and middle-income classes, said PM Shehbaz while presiding over a high-level meeting to examine steps for minimizing the impact of inflation on those groups.

The prime minister primarily decided to offer discounted petrol to rickshaws and motorcycle drivers because a plan for their alleviation had been developed. During the meeting, various program-related proposals were made.

The government “will take all possible steps to protect the low and middle-income people against inflation,” he said, ordering the appropriate officers to complete and submit the programme.

The PM also decided that during the Holy Ramazan, one million citizens of Islamabad would receive free wheat flour from the federal government.
