In order to save energy, some procedures have been taken, and Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has ordered that they be put into action as soon as possible.

He was presiding over a meeting in Islamabad where the country’s energy conservation policies were being reviewed for execution.

The gathering was informed that, as part of the initial phase, 1,000 megawatts worth of solar panels will be installed at federal government buildings, and that the bidding process would begin the next week.

Furthermore, it was stated that the country’s local policy-making process for the production of solar panels had reached its conclusion.

The attendees were informed that the local industry has been trusted to develop a thorough policy in order to enhance the manufacturing of electric motorcycles.

The meeting was informed that all new gas geysers will have conical baffles to conserve gas, and that baffle installation on existing geysers would be guaranteed by the end of the current year.

After the sale of the current stock, it was informed, the manufacture of old electric bulbs with high energy consumption filament or poor quality would not be permitted.

A thorough strategy would be established for replacing the outdated fans, and the industries that manufacture very energy-intensive fans would also be converted to modern technology.
